Ashok Raj Sigdel Sworn in as Nepal's New Army Chief

  • Ashok Raj Sigdel has taken the oath as the new Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Nepal. 

  • He is the 45th Chief of Army Staff of Nepal. 

  • The newly appointed COAS, Ashok Raj Sigdel, was sworn in by President Ramchandra Paudel. 

  • A special ceremony was held at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas, for this occasion.
